We investigate the conditions under which representations shift from being &amp;ldquo;inside individual heads&amp;rdquo; to being &amp;ldquo;shared across multiple heads,&amp;rdquo; and characterize the resulting information structures through computational models and simulations.&lt;/p&gt;

Using the framework of symbol-emergence systems, we explore through computational models how internal emotion/qualia structures shape language, and how shared language in turn reshapes individual experiential structures.&lt;/p&gt;
